Dear Backers,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share an update about the calendar. Unfortunately, the calendar was misprinted, and the printer is not taking responsibility. However, we are committed to ensuring you receive what you paid for. We’re rolling with the punches and will reprint the calendars as 2026 editions, so you have a complete calendar for next year. If you prefer the misprinted version, let us know, and we’ll arrange shipment immediately. 

We are still working through edits and being extra careful to avoid future issues. While we need to complete this project with the current printer, we will be switching to a more reliable one moving forward.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and support during these challenging times in indie publishing. We remain deeply grateful and are working as hard as we can to get this right. We’re so excited to get this into your hands as soon as possible.

Dear Backers,

I wanted to take a moment to update you on our progress. The printer has now received the prototype. It arrived just before their holiday break, and now that they have returned, they’ve had the chance to examine it thoroughly. During their review, they pointed out three necessary changes, details my previous printer failed to inform me of. I am addressing these as quickly as possible, and once they are resolved, everything will move into production smoothly. Our goal is for this process to be flawless, ensuring that every issue is resolved so we can have a seamless printing experience.

Once printing is completed, the printer will send me production samples for final approval. This step is crucial because, without it, we wouldn’t be able to catch and fix any potential issues before full-scale printing begins. In the ten years I’ve been doing this, we’ve only had to redo an entire print run once, and Im hoping we won’t have to ever face that again. We’re doing everything we can to expedite this process and get your decks into your hands as soon as possible.

I know how eagerly you’re waiting for your purchase, and believe me when I say that I want nothing more than to send them out to you. This project is something we have poured our hearts and souls into, and my greatest desire is for you to finally hold this creation in your hands. I deeply regret how long this has taken. If it were within my power, this delay would never have happened.

I want to sincerely thank each of you for your kindness, patience, and trust. It means the world to me and to our entire team. This project began 10 years ago as a labor of love, a group of friends who were passionate about art and tarot. Financially, this has never been a major profit-driven endeavor, but the abundance we have gained in other ways has been immeasurable. However, setbacks like this, especially when our previous printer took our funds, hit us hard, not only financially but emotionally. It made me question my ability to choose the right printing partners, to trust in others, and even to feel secure in a process I once loved.

Your unwavering support during this incredibly uncertain time has meant everything to me. Thank you for sticking with us as we navigate these challenges. Im sending you all so much love, and I promise to update you the moment I have a firm completion date for the bulk printing. I’ll also be sharing a preview of the final deck you’ll be receiving.

Happy New Year! Shipping update

Hello, you incredibly lovely, patient and understanding souls.

Happy New Year, and wishing you much joy and health for this year of the Wooden Snake. 

I want to thank you so much for your patience and understanding as I navigate this very new challenge for us, and that was changing printers due to our former one completely ghosting us and taking our deposit. They had bullied me into "securing materials" by giving them a large deposit and we have tried everything to retrieve it but just could not do a thing about it since its China. I learned a very hard lesson, and it really took the wind out of my sales, if I am being perfectly frank. 

We worked hard to find a new printer, and finally found one that is reputable but still affordable, but they have never printed our decks so it has been a steep learning curve. The last update is that they printed the completely wrong type of box, and have to reprint them. This is not anyones fault, we just had a custom made box with our other printer, so it has been a challenge to reproduce it. We will not sacrifice quality to get these printed quickly, as much as we want to get these done as fast as possible, we just do not want a faulty product that you hate. 

So I have mailed them directly our box and they will be reprinting it now based on the exact box we had before. Looking back, I should have done this to begin with, but I did not think it would be a challenge for them to reproduce it.

I am doing everything in my power to complete this project. Everything has taken a back seat in our production schedule because of this, so we are trying to hurry this as fast as humanly possible.

I will hopefully be able to get them flown to me instead of the sea, Im negotiating a way to do this...

I do not take this delay lightly, I have run 14 campaigns (15?) the past decade and we have never had so many issues. 

This new printer is wonderful, it is just a brand new project that they had no previous experience printing. We had to go with a smaller more affordable printer in order to match our previous printers pricing, so they are wonderful but not a huge factory. 

I do not get any notifications from BackerKit when you comment, I apologise if I have missed a question.

Shipping Update! Good News!!!

Hello everyone!!!


I finally have some news about shipping, and I’m so excited to share it with you! Woohoo! 🎉

First, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your patience as we’ve navigated these very challenging times. It’s been a rollercoaster, but we’re finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I’m thrilled to let you know that we’ve found an amazing new printer who is able to meet our high standards, and we’re working around the clock on finalizing the templates with them. My goal is to have these ready to print by the end of the month. Once they’re finished, they’ll be on a boat, and we’re hoping for a December arrival—though realistically, it may be more like January. As soon as they land, we’ll be shipping them out to you right away.

For those who’ve asked about the add-ons being shipped separately, I’m setting that up with our fulfillment team on Tuesday (tomorrow is a holiday here). So, you’ll be seeing those soon!
I also want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who has already backed our Nautical project. The past few months have been full of unexpected twists, and your support and love for our artists have meant the world to us. As a token of our gratitude, we’ll be applying a $5.00 credit to your shipping, and if you’d prefer to wait until Nautical is ready, you can combine the shipping with our Anniversary deck to save on costs. We’re aiming for Nautical to arrive in March, but we’ll do our best to get it to you sooner if possible!

We truly appreciate your trust and understanding during this time. In all our years of printing decks, we’ve never faced anything like this, and we’re hopeful that this will be the last curveball we have to dodge.

78 Tarot Nautical: New Wave & Companion Deck - Oracle of the Healing Waters

Hello everyone!

I just had to come here and let you all know how incredibly grateful we are for your kindness, patience and understanding about the unfortunate delay in production.

We are very thankful to have built such a wonderful community, and we are so glad you trust us to give you the best product we can, because the artwork deserves no less.

I have some good news, we have been in touch with several new printers so the process is moving right along. My hope is to print 10th Anniversary well before our second 2024 deck so we can get these out to you ASAP. Even if that means us paying more money to expedite the process.

For everyone who contacted us about sending your partial shipment, I have been in touch with my fulfillment center and we are getting the ball rolling with that. Expect a tracking number within the next week.

For those who asked, we are launching our second 2024 project on 11/7 and it will run until 11/22. We are doing our best to raise as much as we can for our artists before the holidays. You can find the link to our page to follow here.
